War Defense
The basic idea is to design your war base to:
IDEAS TO INCORPORATE
- Protect the th (town hall)
- Keep your opponent from destroying 50% of your war base
- Keep your opponent from destroying 100% of your base
IDEAS TO INCORPORATE
- Remember that wizard towers "splash" fire balls so it affects more then one unit.
- Mortars also "splash" units but only ground units.
- Putting a high hit point item in front of a wizard tower or mortar is a good idea.
- You don't loose elixir or gold in war! (Common mistake)
- Traps around the th is a very good idea.
- Cannons don't defend well. (ground only)
- It's a very good idea to wait for the best troops for your cc. (clan castle)
- Town hall 6 and lower need to worry more about ground units than town hall 7 and up.
- The best thing to upgrade are your walls.
- Use the same war base over and over unless you are wiped out by low level troops. Then watch where you need the improvements on the replays.
- It's a good idea to have not only your town hall in the middle of your camp but also your clan castle.
